I hate when they do this and you have to watch a few cutscenes (with the default settings) before you can even go into the pause screen.

FYI: I pretty much distrust almost all forms of cloud storage that isn't at bare minimum end to end encrypted and open source. If I had more money to, I'd build a NAS and self-host basically everything I need on my local network. i deleted my dropbox and mega accounts, and basically have barely anything on my google drive, only stuff that I need to conveniently transfer to other people quickly.

I will have to admit, I am primarily a Linux user, so a lot of the issues people have had recently with LG monitors doesn’t completely affect me, but right before all of the news of LG using monitors to spy on people was blown wide open by Gamers Nexus, I had already bought an LG 27GX704A-B, which I have left sealed in the box and am strongly considering doing an RMA on.
What I want to ask though is, from experience, what are the best alternative OLED Gaming monitors you all have used, that are still a decent price? I am just really unsure as to what I want to choose next…

>Marathon game director Joe Ziegler has stepped down and left Bungie a short two months after the developer announced its final update for fellow FPS Destiny 2. His last day at the company was July 17.
>Former Destiny 2 design lead Del Chafe III will take over as game director with help from Marathon's current creative director Julia Nardin. Ziegler writes in a Twitter announcement, "Both of them have been operating in a strong leadership capacity for the team and are ready to guide Marathon into the next chapter with an even better and brighter future." Marathon launched in March with a peak concurrent player count of 88,337, according to Steam DB, and its current player count as of writing is 6,775.
>Nardin told GamesRadar+ earlier this summer that Marathon's team already knew "where we want to take the story over the next few years," so, at least publicly, Bungie looks ready to invest in Marathon as it leaves Destiny 2 in a sad, comatose state. But the fact that the shooter has gone from nearly 90,000 simultaneous players to under 10,000 is a foreboding one.
>"I just want to say a deeply heartfelt thank you to all of you for supporting me and Marathon in our windy mission to bring a dark and terrifying space survival frontier to your screen," Ziegler says. "The mission will continue in new and surprising ways so stay tuned for what this team has in store for you!" The developer says he will "be heading to something new, somewhere else" with updates to come "soon."
>"Hopefully as I move onto new things, you'll join me for those adventures as well," he adds.

This CPU gets slept on. It cost me $155 total and is a great upgrade to my 5600X. It runs all games about 15% faster. The 5800X3D costs $350 which is 125% more than the 5500X3D but only gets about 10-15% more performance at 1440p. Fewer cores and lower clock speed than the 5800X3D, but you still get the 96mb L3 cache that offers the absolute biggest benefit from AMD X3D CPUs right now.
If you are looking for a budget CPU that will get you from AM4 to AM6, don't forget this niche and hidden CPU that is still being manufactured by AMD.
